QUICK LESSONS:
Respond kindly and politely to those who greet you even if you are busy or in the middle of something important like prayer.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ responded to people who greeted him while he was praying. Bilal reported that when someone greeted the Prophet ﷺ during prayer he would motion with his hand in response. This shows us that even though we should be focused on our prayers and not distracted by anything else around us, it is still important to be polite and courteous to those around us. We can learn from this hadith that we should always respond kindly and politely to those who greet us even if we are busy or in the middle of something important like prayer.
