Be mindful of your actions in worship; Respect those who are worshipping; Avoid distractions during prayer; Acknowledge greetings without interrupting your worship .

This hadith is about responding to greetings during prayer. It is narrated that Suhaib passed by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ while he was performing salah and greeted him with salam, but the Prophet ﷺ did not respond verbally. Instead, he made a gesture with his finger as if to say “I acknowledge your greeting” without interrupting his prayer. This teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions in prayer and not let anything distract us from worshipping Allah SWT. We should also be respectful of others who are praying and not disturb them or expect them to respond when they are in the middle of their worship.
