Salim narrated from : his father (Ibn Umar) who said: "I saw Allah's Messenger when he opened the Salat, raising his hands to the level of his shoulders, and (again) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing". In his narration, Ibn Abi Umar added: "And he would not raise them between the two prostrations".
The act of raising one’s hands during prayer is a sign of submission and humility before God; it symbolizes surrendering oneself completely to Him without any reservations or hesitation. Additionally, this gesture can also be seen as an expression of gratitude towards God for His blessings upon us all throughout our lives. Moreover, by following this practice taught by Prophet Muhammad himself, Muslims are able to demonstrate their faithfulness towards Allah while also strengthening their relationship with Him through regular worship and devotion.
