Take baths after sexual relations/wet dreams and use scents afterwards for purification purposes. Respect yourself by performing this ritual properly as taught by the prophet ﷺ .

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us many things about how to live our lives according to the teachings of Islam. One of these teachings is that when one has sexual relations or experiences a wet dream, they should take a bath afterwards. After taking the bath, the Prophet ﷺ would then use some sort of scent such as hilab and rub it on his head in three parts - first on the right side, then on the left side and finally in the middle with both hands. This ritual was done by him as an act of purification and cleanliness after taking a bath following sexual relations or wet dreams.
