The Importance of Timely Prayers

SUMMARY: Allah is pleased when we start our prayers on time and He forgives us if we end it late.

Ibn Umar narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: "The beginning of the time for Salat is pleasing to Allah, and the end of its time is pardoned by Allah".

QUICK LESSONS:
Start your prayers on time

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of being punctual in our prayers. It is narrated by Ibn Umar that Allah's Messenger said that the beginning of prayer time is pleasing to Allah and the end of its time is pardoned by Him. This means that it pleases Allah when we start our prayers on time and He forgives us if we end it late. We should strive to be punctual in all aspects of life but especially in matters related to worship as this will bring us closer to God and earn His pleasure. We should also remember that even if we are late for a prayer or any other act of worship, God will still forgive us as long as we sincerely repent for our mistake.
