Delaying Isha Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) wanted to make Isha prayer later in the night, but he decided against it because it would be too difficult for his followers.

Abu Hurairah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: "If it were not that it would be a hardship on my Ummah, then I would have ordered you to delay Isha until the third of the night, or its half".

The hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah states that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) wanted to delay the Isha prayer until late at night, but he decided against it because it would be too difficult for his followers. This hadith teaches us that we should always consider how our actions will affect others and not just ourselves. We should think about how our decisions will impact those around us and try to make decisions that are beneficial for everyone involved. Additionally, this hadith also emphasizes the importance of prayer and reminds us of its significance in our lives.

The Prophet Muhammad's decision not to delay Isha was based on compassion and consideration for his followers who may have found such a change difficult or challenging to adjust to.
