QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful of your religious obligations even when you travel or stay at home.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the duration of wiping over the khuffs which are leather socks worn by Muslims during prayer. According to this hadith, if someone is travelling then they can wipe over their khuffs for three days but if they are not travelling then they can only wipe over them for one day. This teaches us that we should be mindful of our religious obligations even when we are travelling as it is easy to forget or neglect them in such situations. It also teaches us that we should be mindful of our religious obligations even when we are not travelling as well, so that we do not become complacent in our faith.
