EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the ritual of ablution or wudu that the Prophet Muhammad PBUH used to perform. It was narrated by Thabit bin Abi Safiyyah who asked Abu Ja'far if Jabir had narrated to him that the Prophet performed wudu one time each, two times, and three times. Abu Ja'far confirmed this narration. This hadith teaches us that it is important to follow the habits of our beloved prophet in order to stay close to Allah SWT and gain His blessings. It also shows us how important it is for Muslims to perform wudu before performing any religious activities such as prayer or reciting Quran as a sign of cleanliness and purity before engaging in these activities. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about consistency in our actions; even though we may not understand why something needs to be done a certain way or number of times, we should still remain consistent with our actions so that we can reap its benefits in the long run.
