QUICK LESSONS:
Respect and follow Islamic teachings, Use judgement when making decisions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of facing the qiblah while urinating. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prohibited this act, however he was seen doing it a year before his death. This could be because of certain circumstances that were not known to us, or because he wanted to show us that there are exceptions to every rule and we should use our judgement in such matters. It is important for us to remember that we should always respect and follow Islamic teachings even if there are exceptions in certain cases. We should also use our judgement when making decisions as long as they do not go against Islamic teachings.
