Feed your slaves from what you eat; Clothe your slaves with what you wear; Treat all creatures with respect and dignity regardless of their social status or position in life; Be kind and compassionate towards those less fortunate than yourself; Do not punish Allah's creatures.

The Prophet Muhammad taught us that it is important to treat our slaves kindly. We should feed them from the same food that we eat and clothe them in the same clothes that we wear. However, if they do not please us, then it is acceptable to sell them without punishing or mistreating them in any way.
