QUICK LESSONS:
Respect and be kind towards your neighbours
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about neighborly etiquette. It is important to be respectful and kind to our neighbors, no matter who they are or where they come from. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised us to begin with the neighbor whose door is nearest to ours as a sign of respect and kindness. This shows that we should prioritize our relationships with those closest to us first before reaching out further away. We should also remember that everyone deserves respect regardless of their background or beliefs, as this was a teaching of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself.
