Treat everyone with respect regardless of their social status; Use respectful terms when referring to masters and slaves; Acknowledge that everyone is equal in the eyes of Allah; Recognize that everyone is a servant of Allah and He is our Lord.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that no one should refer to a slave as "my slave" or "my slave-woman", but rather use terms such as "my young man" or "my young woman". Similarly, a slave should not refer to their master as "lord", but rather use terms such as "master" or "mistress". The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching us that we are all equal in the eyes of Allah, Most High. We must treat each other with respect regardless of our social status. Everyone is a servant of Allah and He is our Lord.
