Changing Names for Good

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad changed the name of a woman from 'Asiyah to Jamilah.

Ibn 'Umar said : The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) changed the name of 'Asiyah and called her Jamilah.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، وَمُسَدَّدٌ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ غَيَّرَ اسْمَ عَاصِيَةَ وَقَالَ ‏ "‏ أَنْتِ جَمِيلَةُ
