Beloved Names of Allah

SUMMARY: The names 'Abd Allah and 'Abd al-Rahman are the most beloved to Allah.

Ibn 'Umar reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying : Your names which are dearest to Allah are 'Abd Allah and 'Abd al-Rahman.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، سَبَلاَنُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ أَحَبُّ الأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ
