This hadith teaches us that religion is based on sincere conduct. We should direct our religious practices to Allah, His book, His apostle and the leaders of believers as well as all other Muslims. It means that we should practice our faith with sincerity and honesty in order to please Allah and gain rewards from Him. We must also respect the authority of those who are in charge of leading us in religious matters such as Imams or scholars who have knowledge about Islam. Furthermore, we must treat all Muslims with kindness regardless of their social status or background because they are all part of one Ummah or community under the guidance of Islam.
