Cursing Effeminate Men and Women Who Imitate Men

SUMMARY: The Prophet (May peace be upon him) cursed effeminate men and women who imitate men, and instructed to put them out of the house.

Ibn 'Abbas said: The Prophet (May peace be upon him) cursed effeminate men (mukhannathan) and women who imitated men, saying: Put them out of your houses, and put so-and-so out. (that is to say, the effeminate men)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ لَعَنَ الْمُخَنَّثِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالْمُتَرَجِّلاَتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَقَالَ ‏ "‏ أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوا فُلاَنًا وَفُلاَنًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ يَعْنِي الْمُخَنَّثِينَ

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's instructions regarding effeminate men and women who imitate men. He cursed these people, which means he disapproved of their behavior, and instructed that they should be put out of the house. We should not try to act like someone we are not or behave in a way that goes against our natural role in society.
