Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: One should not sit between two men except with their permission.
The Prophet Muhammad also taught us that it is wrong to impose ourselves on others without their consent or approval. We should never assume that our presence will be welcomed by everyone in any given situation; instead, we should always take the time to ask if it would be alright if we join them or sit between them. This hadith reminds us of the importance of being mindful of our actions and words when interacting with others so as not to cause any offense or discomfort.
