QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for humility and respect towards others
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of modesty in one's faith. It is narrated by 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar, who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and one of the most prominent figures in Islamic history. In this hadith, we learn that when the Prophet ﷺ saw someone giving his brother a warning about modesty, he said to leave him alone because modesty is an essential part of faith. This teaches us that we should strive to be modest and humble in our behavior as it is an important part of being faithful Muslims. We should also remember that it is not our place to judge others or give them warnings about their behavior; rather, we should focus on ourselves and strive to be better Muslims through humility and modesty.
