The Prophet's Work and Sound Tradition

SUMMARY: The Prophet sent Mu'adh for some work and Abu Dawud said the tradition is sound.

Bakr said: The Prophet sent Mu'adh for some of his work. He then transmitted the rest of the tradition mentioned above. Abu Dawud said: This tradition is sounder of the two traditions.
حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ بَعَثَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of work in Islam. It is narrated by Bakr that the Prophet sent Mu'adh for some work. This shows us that it is important to be productive and do our best in whatever task we are given. Furthermore, Abu Dawud said that this tradition was sounder than two other traditions which further emphasizes its importance. We can learn from this hadith that we should always strive to do our best in whatever task we are given and not take it lightly as it could have a great impact on our lives.
