Avoiding Association with the Qadariyah

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ warned against associating with the Qadariyah, a group of people who were similar to Magians.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet said: The Qadariyah are the Magians of this community. If they are ill, do not pay a sick visit to them, and if they die, do not attend their funerals.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بِمِنًى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْقَدَرِيَّةُ مَجُوسُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ إِنْ مَرِضُوا فَلاَ تَعُودُوهُمْ وَإِنْ مَاتُوا فَلاَ تَشْهَدُوهُمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about avoiding association with a group of people known as the Qadariyah, who were similar to Magians. The Prophet Muhammad warned against visiting them when they are ill or attending their funerals. He wanted his followers to stay away from this group and not associate themselves with them in any way. This hadith teaches us that we should be careful about whom we associate ourselves with and that it is important to stay away from those who do not follow Islamic teachings and values. It also reminds us that we should respect all people regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds, but at the same time be mindful of our own spiritual well-being by avoiding association with those whose beliefs may lead us astray from our faith.
