Generosity of the Prophet (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) bought a troublesome camel from 'Umar and then gave it to 'Abdullah.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (ra): We were in the company of the Prophet on a journey, and I was riding a troublesome camel. The Prophet asked 'Umar to sell that camel to him. So, 'Umar sold it to him. The Prophet then said, "O 'Abdullah! The camel is for you".
وَقَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ فِي سَفَرٍ، وَكُنْتُ عَلَى بَكْرٍ صَعْبٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ لِعُمَرَ ‏"‏ بِعْنِيهِ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَابْتَاعَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏"‏ هُوَ لَكَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the generosity of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar that they were on a journey with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and he asked 'Umar to sell him a troublesome camel. After buying it, he gave it to his companion Abdullah as a gift. This hadith teaches us that we should be generous with our wealth and possessions even if we have little or nothing. We should also be generous in giving gifts to others as this will bring us closer together and create strong bonds between us. Furthermore, this hadith shows us how much love and care the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had for his companions which is something we should strive for in our own lives too.
