Generosity of the Prophet (ﷺ).

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) paid Jabir (ra) more than he owed him.

Jabir (ra) said, "I went to the Prophet in the mosque and he paid me my right and gave me more than he owed me".
حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ مُحَارِبٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَضَانِي وَزَادَنِي

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the generosity of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It tells us that when Jabir went to the mosque to collect his right from the Prophet ﷺ, he was given more than what he was owed. This shows us how generous and kind-hearted our beloved prophet was towards others. He always gave more than what people deserved and expected from him. He never hesitated in helping those who were in need and always put others before himself even if it meant sacrificing his own comfort or needs for them. This hadith teaches us to be generous with our wealth and resources as well as with our time and energy so that we can help those who are less fortunate than ourselves without expecting anything in return.
