EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about giving and receiving rewards. The Prophet ﷺ advised his wife, Maimuna, that if she wanted to receive a greater reward from Allah SWT for manumitting her slave-girl then she should give the girl to one of her maternal uncles. This teaches us that when we do good deeds such as freeing slaves or helping others in need, we should try our best to give it to our relatives so that we can receive a greater reward from Allah SWT. It also shows us how important it is for us as Muslims to help and support our family members whenever possible.
