QUICK LESSONS:
Obey Allah's commands
EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas, if a man who is not married is caught committing sodomy he will be punished with stoning. This punishment was prescribed by Islamic law as a deterrent for those who would commit such an act. The punishment of stoning serves as a reminder that such acts are forbidden in Islam and should not be taken lightly. It also serves as an example of how serious the consequences can be when someone chooses to disobey Allah's commands. This hadith also shows us that justice must always prevail and that no one should ever get away with any crime they have committed regardless of their marital status or any other factor.
