The Meaning of Shukkta

SUMMARY: The hadith explains the meaning of the word shukkta, which means tied.

Al-Auza’i said: The word shukkta means tied, meaning her clothes were tied on her.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا ‏.‏ يَعْنِي فَشُدَّتْ
