QUICK LESSONS:
Take responsibility for your own actions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the punishment for those who commit fornication. Ma'iz ibn Malik came to the Prophet and admitted to committing fornication twice, but he was driven away each time. He then came back and admitted it again, this time four times in total. The Prophet then said that since he had testified against himself four times, he should be taken away and stoned to death as punishment. This hadith teaches us that those who commit sins must face the consequences of their actions, no matter how difficult it may be. It also shows us that we must take responsibility for our own actions and not try to hide them or deny them when they are brought up against us.
