EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the responsibilities of guardians towards their children. It is narrated by al-Amash and 'Umar, who both emphasize that guardians should take care of their children until they reach puberty, as well as a lunatic until he or she is restored to consciousness. This hadith teaches us that it is our duty as parents or guardians to ensure that our children are taken care of properly, even if it means taking extra measures for those with special needs. We must also remember that we have an obligation towards those who cannot take care of themselves due to mental illness or disability.
