Differentiating from Non-Muslims

SUMMARY: Muslims should not imitate Jews and Christians in their practices, but instead act differently from them.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet as saying: Jews and Christians do not dye (their beards), so act differently from them.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ يَصْبُغُونَ فَخَالِفُوهُمْ
