Hair Length of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the hair of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which was up to the lobes of his ears.

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The hair of the Messenger of Allah were up to the lobes of his ears.
حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ شَعْرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ

This hadith narrates that the hair of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was up to the lobes of his ears. This is a sign of respect and modesty as it is not too long nor too short. It also shows us how we should take care and groom ourselves in a way that pleases Allah SWT and follows His teachings. We should also strive to be modest in our appearance and actions so that we can be closer to Allah SWT.
