Wearing Sandals While Standing Forbidden

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade people from wearing sandals while standing.

Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Messenger of Allah forbade that a man should put on sandals while standing.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ أَبُو يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَنْتَعِلَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا
