EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the mercy and compassion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is narrated that the Prophet exiled a person from Medina, but allowed him to come back every Friday to ask for food. This shows us that even though someone may have done something wrong, we should still show them mercy and kindness. We should not forget that Allah is Most Merciful, so we too should strive to be merciful in our dealings with others. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us about charity; it encourages us to give food or other items of need to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. In this way, we can help those in need while also earning rewards from Allah Almighty.
