This hadith emphasizes the importance of modesty and humility in one's dress and behavior. It was narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar that the Prophet said that if someone trails their lower garment, shirt or turban conceitedly then Allah will not look at them on the Day of Resurrection. This means that it is important to be humble when wearing clothing as it reflects our character. We should not be boastful or proud when wearing clothes as this can lead to arrogance which is frowned upon in Islam. Instead, we should strive for modesty and humility in all aspects of our lives including our dress sense.
