The Prophet's Response to Greetings

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ did not respond to a man wearing two red garments who greeted him.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: A man wearing two red garments passed the Prophet and gave him a greeting, but he did not respond to his greeting.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُزَابَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَنْصُورٍ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ رَجُلٌ عَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ النَّبِيُّ عَلَيْهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the response of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when he was greeted by a man wearing two red garments.
