EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the prohibition of selling slave mothers during the time of Umar, one of the four rightly guided caliphs. It was narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah, who was a companion and close friend to Prophet Muhammad. During his reign, Umar forbade people from trading in slave mothers and this practice stopped. This hadith teaches us that it is wrong to exploit vulnerable people for our own gain and that we should always strive to protect those who are weaker than us. It also shows us how important it is to follow Islamic law and abide by its teachings even if it goes against our own desires or interests.
