This hadith tells us of an incident between the Prophet Muhammad and his companion 'Abd Allah b. Mas'ud. The Prophet asked him to recite Surat al-Nisa from the Quran, which is a chapter in Islam's holy book that talks about women's rights and responsibilities in society.
