EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by AbuHurayrah and it states that it is permissible to relate traditions from the children of Israel. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known for his respect and admiration for other religions, especially Judaism and Christianity, which were both prominent in Arabia at the time. He encouraged his followers to learn about these religions as well as their customs and traditions, so that they could better understand them. This hadith shows us that we should be open-minded when it comes to learning about different cultures and beliefs, even if they are not our own. We should strive to be respectful towards others regardless of their faith or background. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us that knowledge can come from many sources; we should not limit ourselves only to what we know but also seek out knowledge from other sources in order to broaden our understanding.
