The Sermon of the Prophet Muhammad at the Conquest of Mecca

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave a sermon when Mecca was conquered and a man from Yemen asked him to write it down.

Abu Hurairah said : When Mecca was conquered, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up. He (Abu Hurairah) then mentioned the sermon of the Holy Prophet . He said: A man of the Yemen, who was called Abu Shah, got up and said: Messenger of Allah! Write it for me. He said: Write it for Abu Shah.
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ لَمَّا فُتِحَتْ مَكَّةُ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ فَذَكَرَ الْخُطْبَةَ خُطْبَةَ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو شَاهٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اكْتُبُوا لِي ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ اكْتُبُوا لأَبِي شَاهٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
When Mecca was conquered, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), delivered a sermon. A man from Yemen, called Abu Shah, asked for it to be written down. In response, the Prophet said "Write it for Abu Shah". This hadith shows us that even though we may not have been present during an important event or moment in history, we can still benefit from its teachings by asking those who were there to share their knowledge with us. It also teaches us that knowledge is valuable and should be shared with others so that they too can benefit from it. Furthermore, this hadith highlights the importance of respecting those who are knowledgeable and seeking out their advice when needed.
