Paying remaining price of jointly possessed slave; Allowing slave opportunity to work towards his/her own freedom; Striving towards freeing all those who are enslaved; Helping those who cannot afford their own freedom

This hadith explains the importance of freeing slaves completely. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that if someone owns a share in a slave, it is necessary for them to pay the remaining price in order to free them completely. If they do not have enough money, then the price should be estimated fairly and the slave should be allowed to work and earn what is needed for their freedom without overburdening them. This hadith teaches us that slavery must not be tolerated or accepted as it goes against justice and fairness. We must strive towards freeing all those who are enslaved so that everyone can live with dignity and respect. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about compassion as we are encouraged to help those who cannot afford their own freedom by allowing them an opportunity to work towards it without being overburdened or exploited in any way.
