QUICK LESSONS:
Be Responsible for what you Take
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of responsibility when taking something from someone else. The Prophet said that the hand which takes is responsible until it pays back whatever was taken. Al-Hasan then added to this by saying that if you give something on loan to a man, he becomes your depositor and there should be no compensation for it. This hadith emphasizes the importance of being responsible and paying back what we owe in order to maintain good relationships with others. It also teaches us not to expect anything in return when lending out our possessions or money as we should do so out of kindness and generosity without expecting anything in return.
