Unlawful Transactions

SUMMARY: It is not permissible to combine a loan with a sale, nor to make two conditions in one transaction, nor to gain profit from something that is not under one's control, nor to sell something that is not in one's possession.

Narrated 'Amr b. Suh'aib: On his father's authority, said that his grandfather 'Abd Allah b. 'Amr reported the Messenger of Allah as saying: The proviso of a loan combined with a sale is not allowable, nor two conditions relating to one transaction, nor profit arising from something which is not in one's charge, nor selling what is not in your possession.

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic laws regarding transactions such as avoiding combining loans with sales and making two conditions related on one transaction etc..

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the unlawfulness of certain transactions. It is forbidden to combine a loan with a sale, as this would be considered usury or riba which is prohibited in Islam. Additionally, it is also forbidden to make two conditions relating to one transaction as this could lead to exploitation or unfairness towards either party involved. Furthermore, it is also unlawful for someone to gain profit from something that they do not have control over as this could lead them into taking advantage of another person’s misfortune or lack of knowledge. Lastly, it is also prohibited for someone to sell something that they do not possess as this would be considered fraud and deceitful behavior towards another person. All these teachings are important for Muslims so they can practice their faith properly and avoid any unlawful activities which could bring harm upon themselves or others around them.
