QUICK LESSONS:
Abstain from activities such as cupping, buying or selling dogs, or hiring prostitutes which have been deemed impure by Islamic teachings.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that certain types of earnings are considered impure in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ mentioned three specific examples in this hadith; earnings from cupping, buying or selling dogs, and hiring prostitutes. Cupping is an ancient practice used to treat various ailments by creating suction on the skin with heated cups. Dogs are not allowed to be kept as pets in Islam because they can be unclean and unhygienic animals. Lastly, prostitution is strictly forbidden in Islam as it goes against its moral values and teachings. This hadith serves as a reminder for Muslims to stay away from these activities and their associated earnings so that they may remain pure both spiritually and physically according to Islamic teachings.
