Prohibiting Habal al-Habalah Transaction

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade a certain type of transaction.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Messenger of Allah forbade the transaction called Habal al-habalah.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ حَبَلِ الْحَبَلَةِ

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, prohibited a certain type of transaction known as Habal al-habalah.
