QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for fairness and justice in dealings with others , Be honest in transactions
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade the practice of selling animals for other animals when payment was to be made at a later date. This is because it is not fair to the seller as they are not receiving any money in return and instead are taking on an animal that may not have the same value as what they sold. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for fairness and justice in our dealings with others and never take advantage of someone else's situation or lack of knowledge. We should also ensure that we are honest in our transactions and never try to deceive someone into giving us something without providing them with something of equal value in return.
