QUICK LESSONS:
Always remember that only Allah has the power to fulfill our needs and desires; strive to avoid committing any form of shirk or associating partners with God; be mindful of one's words and actions; respect monotheistic beliefs; do not swear by anything else but Him .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the sin of polytheism, which is a major sin in Islam. It teaches us that swearing by anyone other than Allah is considered to be an act of polytheism. This hadith was narrated by Sa'id ibn Ubaydah who heard it from Ibn Umar, who in turn heard it from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad warned against swearing by anyone other than Allah as this would be an act of shirk or associating partners with God. We should always remember that only Allah has the power to fulfill our needs and desires, so we should not swear by anything else but Him.

We must also remember that even though we may not intend to commit shirk when we swear, it can still happen if we are not careful with our words and actions. Therefore, it is important for us to always keep this hadith in mind and strive to avoid committing any form of shirk or associating partners with God.
