QUICK LESSONS:
Follow instructions given by Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) regarding washing & shrouding someone who died while wearing ihram .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a man who was wearing ihram, which is a state of holiness that Muslims enter when they are performing pilgrimage. Unfortunately, he was thrown by his she-camel and had his neck broken, resulting in death. When this incident was brought to the attention of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he instructed that the man should be washed and shrouded but not covered with a head cloth or perfumed as he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection saying talbiyah. Talbiyah is an Islamic prayer recited by pilgrims during Hajj or Umrah which expresses their intention for performing pilgrimage and glorifying Allah SWT. This hadith teaches us that even in death we must remain humble before Allah SWT and follow His commands without hesitation or doubt. It also reminds us that our actions have consequences both in this life and hereafter; therefore we must always strive to do good deeds so we can receive His mercy on Judgment Day.
