Follow Islamic teachings & traditions while burying a deceased person

This hadith highlights the importance of following the sunnah when burying a deceased person. It was narrated by Abu Ishaq that Al-Harith left his will that Abdullah ibn Yazid should offer his funeral prayer and bury him according to sunnah. The narrator then put him in the grave from his legs side and said that this is a sunnah. This hadith teaches us to follow what Prophet Muhammad ﷺ has taught us regarding burial practices as it is important for Muslims to follow these practices as much as possible. It also shows us how important it is for Muslims to take care of their loved ones even after they have passed away by ensuring they are buried according to Islamic teachings and traditions.
