Pray for those who have passed away; come together as a community; thank Allah even during difficult times; show respect for those who have passed away.

The hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah tells us about how Prophet Muhammad PBUH gave his people news of the death of Negus and then took them out to a place of prayer. He drew them up in rows and said "Allah is Most Great" four times. This hadith teaches us that when someone passes away we should remember to pray for their soul and show respect for their memory. It also shows us that it is important to come together as a community when someone dies so that we can all share our grief together. We should also remember to thank Allah for His blessings even during difficult times like this one.
