EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Jabir b. Samurah tells us about the funeral prayer of the Prophet for Ibn al-Dahdah. After offering the prayer, a horse was brought and tied until he rode it, which then began to gallop and people were running around it. This hadith teaches us that we should offer funeral prayers for our deceased ones as it is an important part of our religion and also shows us how much respect we should have towards them even after their death. It also teaches us that we should be generous in helping others even if they are no longer alive as this is what our beloved prophet did when he offered his funeral prayer over Ibn al-Dahdah's body and provided him with a horse to ride on after his death.
