Showing Respect at Funerals

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) showed respect for the deceased by standing up for their funeral.

Narrated 'Ali bin Abi Talib: The Prophet stood up for a funeral (to show respect) and thereafter he sat down.
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ وَاقِدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ قَامَ فِي الْجَنَائِزِ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ بَعْدُ
