Perform ablutions instead of taking a bath after washing the dead

This hadith speaks about ablution after washing the dead. It states that it is sufficient to perform ablution instead of taking a bath after washing the dead. The hadith also mentions that there is another tradition transmitted by Abu Hurairah which has been abrogated by Ahmad b. Hanbal when he was asked about a man taking a bath after his washing the dead. Furthermore, it mentions that there is another narrator Ishaq between him and Abu Hurairah whose tradition of Mus'ab is weak and contains many things that are not practised. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of our actions when dealing with death as well as to be aware of traditions which may not be valid or accepted in Islam.
